Operator and contact
Site operator / data controller: Anna Vincze, Hungary.
Contact: [email protected].
What information may be processed?
This site is free to read. It does not require registration or ask visitors to submit personal experiences. Searching, opening topics and using the breathing guide happen in your browser. The application does not send a separate activity log of these actions to the operator.
Cloudflare may process technical data to deliver and secure the site, such as IP addresses, request times, URLs requested, browser or device details, and security events. Some of this information may be personal data. The purposes are website delivery, security and abuse prevention. The legal basis for necessary processing is legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
Cookies and tracking
The application itself does not use cookies, localStorage or advertising trackers. Cloudflare may use technical cookies necessary to deliver and protect the website.
I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand website traffic and performance. It provides page-view and performance statistics without analytics cookies or individual visitor profiles.
Contacting me
If you email me, I use the information in your message to handle your enquiry and communicate with you. Emails are forwarded through Cloudflare Email Routing to Google Gmail.
I do not publish your messages or use them for marketing or website content without your permission.
I keep messages for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, unless a legal obligation or legal claim requires further retention. The legal basis for correspondence is my legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
Provider, retention and international transfers
Cloudflare provides website hosting and network services. Retention of technical logs and security information depends on the Cloudflare services used and their data handling policies. I do not keep separate, personally identifiable topic-reading histories.
Cloudflare and Google may process or access information outside the European Economic Area. Their privacy policies explain their privacy practices and applicable international data transfer safeguards.
Your rights and complaints
Where applicable, you may request information and access, correction, erasure or restriction of personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests.
For privacy questions, you can contact me at [email protected]. If you have a complaint about how your personal data is handled, you can contact the Hungarian Data Protection Authority (NAIH) or another competent data protection authority.
External links and educational purpose
Linked research papers and other websites have their own privacy practices. Trauma Reactions is an independently developed educational resource. It does not replace diagnosis, personalised professional advice or therapy.
